This week Chad talks with Ethan Yazel from Muzzle Blasts about the evolution of muzzleloaders. These guys dive into the origins of the muzzle loaders and take a walk through history to modern-day firearms. Ethan is a wealth of knowledge and explains some of the biggest discoveries that led to today’s long-range muzzleloaders from the discovery of gun powder by the Chinese to rifled barrels from Germany. Ethan even talks about shooting competitions with a muzzle loader. This is a great history lesson, and it leads perfectly into the custom muzzle loader build show next week. The Helena Independent Record reported on April 20th, 2021 that Montana Governor Gianforte has signed Rep. Caleb Hinkle’s Muzzleloader Hunting Season bill into Law.
