Earlier this month, we talked to Caleb Hinkle about his bill working to bring a muzzleloader hunting season to Montana. At the time of our interview, Caleb was presenting the bill to the Montana House of Representatives but was hopeful about it’s passing through the Montana House and Senate.

After a night of thunderstorms in Friendship, Indiana, students arrived ready to learn at the second Kibler Kit assembly class with Mike Brooks and Wayne Estes. Workstations are spread apart in the NMLRA Education Center, giving students enough room to spread out their tools through the week. Many of the 7 students have come with their rifles still in the box, but a couple have already assembled their kits, looking to focus on learning to carve traditional motifs into their longrifle stocks.

Upcoming Road Work Affecting Travel to Friendship, Indiana
Indiana’s Department of Transportation is planning some roadwork near our headquarters at the Walter Cline Range in Friendship Indiana this spring. INDOT says the work will be done before the June Shoot, scheduled for June 12-20,2021. Please keep these construction locations in mind if you are planning a trip to one of our spring events.
