I started off with a tiny little flintlock that was stocked from sassafras wood so that it was lighter and I could hold it. I then had another gun that was able to switch from a flintlock to percussion ignition. I shot flint for a long time and now my current gun is a .40 caliber percussion.

We’re so excited about this year’s NMLRA Women’s Weekend Shoot! We’ve got lots of great matches lined up. We’ll also be running our .22 long range shoot the same weekend, so bring your husbands and boyfriends down too for a weekend of fun for everyone!

Join us for three days filled with fun, fellowship and shooting sports! Events include but are not limited to Woodswalk Modern .22 Matches Rifle and Pistol matches Trap Shooting Instructors and loaner guns will be available for registered participants to enjoy each event!
