Forging a Roasting Fork with B and A Forge | NMLRA Traditional Craft

We catch up with Broadus and Angus Thompson of B&A Forge at the NMLRA National Championships to hang out and watch them work.

It was an absolute delight to observe these boys work through the week. Many will say that kids these days don’t want to learn or work hard, but Broadus and Angus Thompson, as well as their friends are a shining exception to the norm.

The 2019 Boy Scout Camporee Photos & More

The leaves are beginning to turn here in Southern Indiana, it made for a perfect weekend to host the scouts at the Walter Cline Range.

We’d like to thank Angie Adelsberger for sharing her photos with us from the weekend. She shot over 100 photos and short clips of the scouts having a blast.

The Versailles American Legion Junior Shooting Sports at the ISPRA Awards!

We’d like to send a large NMLRA congratulations to a local youth shooting sports team here in Southern Indiana. 

The Versailles American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program is a youth air rifle program here in Ripley County. These youth marksmen practice at the NMLRA headquarters and raise money for their matches by working during the NMLRA National Championships. 

“Maggie, Richie, Joe and Tanner along with Steve and myself attended the Annual ISRPA Awards Banquet last night in Indianapolis at the Indiana War Memorial. We were notified a few weeks ago that our team won 1st. place in Sporter Class in an on line shoot. All 4 shooters with us won awards plus top team.”
