Due to the negligence of individual members of the Board of Directors, the meeting resulted in no quorum for June 14th, 2023, causing the board to be unable to conduct the necessary business of the NMLRA.

Day of Giving - November 4th, 2022

Today is the Ripley County Community Foundation “Day of Giving”. All gifts made to a endowed fund on this day will be eligible to receive a 50% match. You can honor the memory of a family member or a friend, leave a legacy or pay-it-forward.

The NMLRA (National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association) is lucky to have a fund through which we can get a distribution each year from if needed. The most recent use of this was the new scoring room on the Walter Cline Range.

To donate you can go to https://rccfonline.org/giving-opportunities/rccf-family-of-funds/. Our fund is National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association Fund #292 – To provide support to the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association.

When on the page click on Donate. Choose second option Give a Gift to an Established Fund. Click Donate Now. Put in your amount and then fill in the options it asks. Where can we designate your gift? In this box scroll all the way to the bottom and it is the NMLRA fund. Continue. And fill in the information asked - here is where you can Dedicate this Donation and you can put in honor of someone.

The NMLRA is very appreciative of all donations and this is a way to add even more to what you can give.

Wyatt Frist “Never Give Up” Fundraiser

In March of 2021 Wyatt was in a severe traffic accident and ended up with multiple surgeries and a lengthy hospital stay. Wyatt is home now and continuing in his long road to complete recovery.

 Come join us for 2 raffles, a silent auction and GoFundMe to raise money for Wyatt!

 Join us from September 11-18, 2021, at the NMLRA Trap Range for a silent auction and raffle for some great prizes and on Wednesday, a special Calcutta shoot at 6PM.

Raffle #1 is for a custom-built muzzleloading pistol, a shooting box and a powder horn. Tickets are $10 each. 

Raffle #2 is for a “Barrel of Cheer”- an assortment of bottles of liquor, wine and beer! Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25.

If you can’t join us those dates but would like tickets, please contact Amanda Weisel or Keith Fox. We take cash, check, PayPal or Venmo. Proceeds from these and the GoFundMe page go to Wyatt and his #1 caretaker and father, Robert Frist, for costs associated with the accident.

President's Statement on Remote Access to Board Meetings

"Currently, the NMLRA does not have the technological equipment or platforms to properly and securely set up remote access to any meeting of the Board of Directors or our Annual Membership Meeting.

Additionally, there are no provisions for such meeting accommodations in the Association's Bylaws and Policies. Upon final review by our Legal Counsel, it has been determined that no such activity should occur until it has been properly addressed via Bylaw and Policy updates.”
