What's new from Thompson Center in 2020? New Muzzleloaders from Thompson Center

T/C Arms Brand Manager Danielle walks us through Thompson Center’s 2020 Muzzleloader line and shares some interesting updates to their bolt action centerfire line.

We’d like to thank Thompson Center for sharing their 2020 line with us, be sure to check out their website TCarms.com and follow them on social media @TCArmsCo

Thompson/Center was one of the original supporters of the NMLRA Longhunter Society, the only North American Big Game Records Book series for Muzzleloading hunters, we can’t thank them enough for their support of the NMLRA and muzzleloader hunters all over North America.

So we've had the Impact in the line for a little bit, but when we launched this one, this one's called the Impact SB. And so we call it that because we added the speed breech to it, which was really nice because, in the past, you had to use a tool to be able to do that. And you guys know in Muzzle Loading, as easy as you can make it for the customer the better. So, super easy hinge. That's all you got. And then we also added the power rod to the end of that as well.

What kind of yardage is are you shooting for out of these?

You know we shot them at 300 yards depending on the size of the animal and the penetration of the bullet which is really up to the person that's actually shooting and what their confidences and their placement and what they're used to working with. I know that there are some long-range translators out there right now. We don't have a long-range specific muzzleloader. We're all inline at this point, super accurate. Very, very accurate. We're a small company, all made in the USA with a lifetime warranty as well. All in Springfield, Massachusetts.
