We currently have a total of 714 members of the 1 of 1,000 Endowment. The

minimum goal for 2019 is a total of at least 750 members. Clinton Byers, of The

Honourable Company of Horners, created the 2018 1 of 1,000 Powder Horn.

This horn was won by drawing, by Eric Blanton, of Illinois in June 2019 at the

National Spring Shoot.

The annual 1 of 1,000 Match will be held immediately following the opening

ceremonies for the 2019 National Championship Shoot Sept. 14, 2019, at the

offhand range, in front of the Clubhouse. Max Vickery's .54 Hawken will be

available for those members wishing to use it for the match. All 1 of 1,000

members are invited and encouraged to participate.

You are invited to a special reception for 1 of 1,000 members to be held at

Friendship, Indiana during the 2019 National Championship Shoot in

September. The reception will be held in the Rand House at 6pm on Saturday

September 14, 2019. Light refreshments will be served. Please plan to attend

and enjoy the company of other like-minded NMLRA members who have acted

to insure the survival of our muzzle loading heritage.

Pete Wygant has graciously donated one of his beautiful, hand-crafted gun boxes

as the door prize. Please help spread the word about the reception to fellow 1 of 1,000 members.
